Steve Dold,a native of the SF Bay Area,started working in his father's auto repair shop at the age of 11. In 1984 he bought the shop and created Diesel Marine Electric, which he sold to his son, Anton, in 2003.
Steve's two greatest passions are racing and boating. He started drag racing at the age of 16 and was involved with racing motorcycles,cars and powerboats for the next 35 years. Steve started boating in 1970 and has enjoyed countless hours cruising the bay, delta and offshore with his wife Linda and their two children, Marina and Anton. Steve served aboard the guided missile cruiser, The USS Long Beach, in Vietnam.

Mark Miner is a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain who has spent most of his life around boats. He currently serves as the Commodore of the 500 member South Beach Yacht Club in San Francisco, CA.
